Yak Education Trust is a Trust under section 25 of Company Act providing D.G Shipping approved Pre-Sea Training Courses for Deck Cadets and G.P Ratings. Yak Education Trust has independent training campus spread over sprawling 25 acres of land located at Khopoli (apprx. 40 Kms from Navi Mumbai). It is a self contained unit in a very scenic and pollution free environment with salubrious climate. It has independent marine, welding, fitter, chemistry, physics and seamanship etc workshops of over 8000 sq ft area. We have a large size swimming pool of 30mts (L) X 20 mts(W) X 18ft (Depth) with diving and HUET underwater training facilities. It has modern residential cabin type accommodation for the trainees with a separate hostel facilities for female candidates. The campus provides various outdoor and indoor sports facilities. It has a state of the art gym facility. The campus is planned to grow manifold into Marine Engineering courses in near future. The G.P Ratings training at this institute has created records by giving best results in the Exit Exams in the industry conducted by D.G Shipping over the last two years. Our successfully passed out cadets and ratings have been absorbed in various National and International Shipping Companies.
