Yak Group initially started with Maritime Courses approved by D.G Shipping (Govt of India) has successfully trained over 70,000 professionals till 2008. It has grown from strength to strength and diverted into various other business like Computer and Animation courses, underwater diving and welding courses, Shipping and Logistics courses, warehousing, Custom Clearance and Freight Forwarding activities and construction activities.

Yak Group has its head office at CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai with huge office / training area of approximately 20,000 Sq ft. It is conducting a number of DG Shipping approved STCW courses at this location.

Yak Education Trust has independent training campus spread over sprawling 25 acres of land located at Khopoli (apprx. 40 Kms from Navi Mumbai). It is a self contained unit in a very scenic and pollution free environment with salubrious climate. This campus is approved by D.G Shipping for conducting Pre-Sea Training for Deck Cadets and G.P Ratings.
